Primary Healthcare and Awareness Centers
We realize that for the majority of the population in our villages and slums, going to a doctor isa last resort: something that is done only when the patient is really very ill, and all traditional remedies and shortcuts have failed. PPCT simplifies access to quality medicine in our villages and slums by setting up primary health centers with paramedical staff and visiting physicians in our villages and slums.PPCT healthcare centers also double as awareness units for spreading information related to healthy and clean living through pamphlets, awareness camps, seminars, and meetings. PPCT invites physicians and medical specialists to volunteer their services.
Primary Education Centers
PPCT works towards creating awareness of the importance of quality education. It has created children’s libraries and has brought computers and English, Tamil, Maithili, Sanskrit, and Hindi literary and scientific books within the reach of school children in slums and villages. PPCT invites qualified people from all walks of life to contribute to—or volunteer for—itseducational initiatives.
